A requirement for the Global Talent Visa is that you are likely to earn at or above the Australian Fair Work High Income Threshold (FWHIT). This is currently $153,600 for the financial year ending 30 June 2021.

This requirement can be met through one or more of the following:

  • Recent relevant Masters or PhD in which you achieved highly

  • Past/current earnings

  • Labour Market evidence, such as salary survey or advertised positions

  • Expected future earnings, such as a job offer
